About Dj Big Willie Hey everyone this is just a little background information about me “DJ Big Willie”: For those who know me this is a chance to get to know me a little better and for those who don’t know me keep reading and learn what keeps me moving forward. I was born and raised in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic, which is considered the coldest city in Dominican Republic (I laugh now because I have passed many winters here). Although I’ve been living in the U.S. for 5 years my heart still remains to Jarabacoa. I lived in New York for awhile but now I’m stationed in Connecticut, which is where I officially began to work as a DJ and producing my own mix CDs. When I started it was with borrowed equipment (that didn’t work half the time) playing music anywhere people would hear me. Then little by little with a lot of hard work doing jobs that were not so glamorous I got all my equipment and began booking parties and maintaining a steady job at a bar spinning the latest Latin songs. I have booked jobs all around Connecticut and New York. I am always looking for new challenges and am willing to try new things that’s what keeps me moving forward. I also have produced my own mix CDs, which I have to thank all my die hard fans for always believing in me and supporting me in whatever I do. While I’m thanking people I would like to thank GOD first because without him I would have never even had the motivation to pursue my interest in music. Thank my family for putting up with my loud music at all times of the day and still manage to be supportive. Well this is the end of this blurb but just the beginning to what will be, GOD willing, a very successful career and life for me: your boy, DJ Big Willie.
